Series Resonant AC Withstand Voltage Testing Devices
There are two main types of series resonant AC withstand voltage testing devices:
1. Frequency-Tuned Series Resonant Device
Type: Intelligent
Principle: Achieves resonance by adjusting the frequency
Frequency Range: Typically 30–300 Hz
2. Power Frequency Inductance-Tuned Series Resonant Device
Type: Traditional
Principle: Maintains a constant frequency of 50 Hz and achieves resonance by adjusting the inductance
Applicable Test Objects and Required Parameters
For Frequency-Tuned Series Resonant Devices:
Cables: Voltage level, length, cross-sectional area
Main Transformers: Voltage level, capacity
Circuit Breakers, Busbars, Busbar Assemblies, Insulators: Voltage level
GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear): Voltage level, number of intervals
For Power Frequency Inductance-Tuned Series Resonant Devices:
Hydropower and Thermal Power Plants: Capacity of hydraulic units and thermal power units
Motor Testing: Rated voltage, capacity
