HZKM-2 Engine Oil Anti-friction And Wear Testing Machine

Purpose: To test the lubrication, anti-wear performance, and oil temperature changes of lubricating oils both in their base form and when blended with anti-wear additives.
Test Conditions: Under 220V power, conventional oil seizes under specific pressure, whereas wear-resistant lubricant does not seize.

Optimized Operating Procedure

Prepare Shaft Sleeve:

Connect power & start motor.

Thoroughly polish shaft sleeve with ordinary lubricating oil using thumb pressure.

Wipe sleeve clean. Stop motor. [Purpose: Remove original oil film/nanomembrane for unbiased results.]

Setup Test Machine (Ordinary Oil Baseline):

Place steel ball in short lever socket.

Fill oil box with ordinary lubricating oil.

Install oil box, long lever, and short lever.

Run Baseline Test (Ordinary Oil):

Start motor.

Gradually increase load until seizure occurs.

Record torque wrench reading at seizure.

Monitor ammeter: Increasing current indicates rising power/oil consumption.

Note increasing noise.

Remove short lever. Observe ball wear (depth, area, roughness).

Reset & Prepare for Test Oil:

Reposition steel ball. Reinstall lever assembly.

Repolish shaft sleeve [to remove wear from baseline test]. Wipe clean.

Refill oil box with wear-resistant lubricating oil.

Run Test with Wear-Resistant Oil:

Gradually increase load on long lever.

Observe: Noise decreases significantly. Ammeter shows minimal current/power increase (indicating fuel/oil savings).

Note: Machine does not seize despite high load.

[Conclusion: Test oil demonstrates excellent anti-wear properties.]

Verify Nanomembrane & Conclude:

Remove oil box. Observe machine runs normally. [Confirms nanomembrane presence/effect.]

Stop motor.

Remove steel ball. Compare wear marks to baseline test results.
