Characteristics
The HZBS-002 is designed in accordance with ISO 13736 and IP 170, employing the Abel closed-cup method. It is suitable for determining the flash point of petroleum products and other flammable liquids with flash points between –30 °C and 70 °C. The precision of this method is only valid for flash points within the range of –5 °C to 66.5 °C. The instrument is not applicable to water-borne paints.
Main Characteristics
The temperature rise is controlled by an SSR (solid-state relay), which can satisfy the requirements of different heating rates. The sample is continuously stirred during testing, and stirring is automatically stopped during ignition to ensure accurate flash point detection. Ignition is electrically controlled for reliable and repeatable operation. The test cup lid, which incorporates the stirring device, can be freely disassembled for convenient cleaning and maintenance.
Operating Conditions
The instrument operates within an ambient temperature range of 5 °C to 35 °C and relative humidity of ≤ 85%. It should be used in an environment free from dust, corrosive gases, and strong magnetic field interference. Power is supplied via a 220 V ± 22 V, 50 Hz, 5 A grounded electrical socket. The gas source may be liquid petroleum gas or propane.
