Oil Immersed AC DC Hipot Tester Work Principle
Connecting the control unit (which is supplementary equipment for the test transformer; for details, see the instruction manual) requires a work frequency of 220V (or 380V for units above 10 KVA). Adjust the 0-220V/380V voltage input to the HZJ (HZJZ) test transformer's primary winding through an autotransformer. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, the secondary (high voltage) winding can achieve a voltage value that is a multiple of the primary winding, corresponding to the rated frequency, resulting in high-frequency voltage. Direct current high-frequency voltage is obtained after being rectified by a high-frequency silicon stack and filtered by a capacitor, with its amplitude being twice that of the work frequency.
