HZ-2000H Transformer Capacitance And Tan Delta Tester The dielectric loss tester has overcome the limitations of traditional bridge measurement methods by adopting frequency conversion power supply technology. It uses a microcontroller and modern electronic technology to perform automatic frequency conversion, mode/number conversion, and data processing. The tester features strong anti-interference capabilities, fast testing speed, high precision, automatic digitization, and ease of operation. The power supply utilizes a high-power switching supply that outputs 45Hz and 55Hz pure sinusoidal waves, automatically applies pressure, and can provide up to 10kV of voltage. It also automatically filters out 50Hz interference, making it suitable for large field tests in environments with significant electromagnetic interference, such as substations.This dielectric loss measurement method is widely used in the power industry for testing transformers, mutual inductors, casings, capacitors, lightning arresters, and other equipment.

The HZ-2000H Transformer Capacity And Tan Delta Tester is an intelligent device used to measure the dielectric loss tangent (tg δ) and capacitance value (Cx).

 

I.Performance Feature

High-Precision Digital Measurement: Utilizes Fourier transform digital filtering technology to accurately measure capacitance, dielectric loss (tanδ), and other parameters, facilitating automated measurement.

Strong Anti-Interference Capability: Incorporates frequency conversion technology to effectively eliminate on-site 50Hz power frequency interference, ensuring reliable data acquisition even in environments with strong electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Intuitive & User-Friendly Operation: Features a full-touch, extra-large LCD screen. The graphical interface clearly displays the entire measurement process, enabling operation with minimal operator training. Complete measurements via touch control.

Smart Data Management: Integrated calendar chip and large-capacity memory allow test results to be stored anytime. Supports historical data review and on-demand printing. Displays and prints current time alongside storage timestamps.

Automated Measurement Process: Microprocessor intelligently controls the measurement sequence. Users simply select the measurement mode, and the instrument automatically completes data acquisition.

Portable Integrated Design: Built-in standard capacitor and high-voltage (HV) power supply simplify field testing and minimize external wiring requirements.

Oil Dielectric Loss Measurement Support: High measurement accuracy meets oil dielectric loss testing requirements. Compatible with a standard oil cup and dedicated test leads for oil tanδ measurement.

Reverse Wiring with LV Shielding: Enables 10kV reverse wiring dielectric loss measurement on C11 (of 220kV CVTs) without disconnecting leads, even when the CVT bus is grounded.

AC Withstand Voltage Testing: Suitable for AC withstand voltage tests on PT/CT secondary sides and 400V low-voltage systems.

Wide-Frequency Power Supply Compatibility: Automatically detects external HV power supply frequency (40Hz–70Hz). Compatible with variable frequency power supplies or series resonant power supplies for large-capacity, high-voltage dielectric loss testing.

Comprehensive CVT Testing & Protection: Performs CVT self-excitation (SF6) testing. Allows setting quadruple protection limits (HV/Current, LV/Current) to safeguard personnel and equipment.

Full CVT Parameter Measurement: During CVT tests, automatically measures capacitance and tanδ values for both divider capacitors (C1, C2) and the total CVT capacitance.

Thermal Print Output: Integrated thermal printer with calendar clock for immediate hardcopy results.

Computer Networking & Control: Equipped with a computer interface enabling centralized control of up to 32 instruments from a single PC. Facilitates integration into HV test vehicle systems for unified measurement, data processing, and report generation.

Comprehensive Grounding Protection: Grounding status detection prevents activation if grounding is absent or faulty, prohibiting HV output. Over-current protection safeguards the instrument against damage during short circuits or breakdowns.

Operator Shock Protection: Immediately cuts off HV output upon accidental operator contact with live components, ensuring tester safety.
