The HZ-3310E-I Transformer DC Winding Resistance Tester is an innovative, handheld instrument designed for superior portability and ease of use. Its compact size makes it ideal for field testing where space and mobility are important considerations.

The tester is highly versatile, accommodating both inductive test objects-such as transformers, mutual inductors, and reactors-and resistive test objects including copper bars, conductors, and switch contacts. The instrument delivers fast testing speed and high measurement accuracy.

For three-phase transformers, the tester supports automatic three-phase testing and automatically calculates the three-phase unbalance rate, providing comprehensive diagnostic data in a single operation.

Technical Indicators

Battery Charging

When the battery is low after long storage or before the first use of the hand-held device, please use the charger attached to it to charge the battery for at least 2 hours, and continue to use the hand-held tester when charging. When the battery is fully charged, the charger light changes from red to green.

Important Battery Care and Safety Instructions

Power Management – When the instrument is not in use, turn off the power promptly to conserve battery life.

Long-Term Storage – If the instrument will not be used for an extended period, regular charging and discharging cycles are essential. The battery should be charged and discharged at least once a month to maintain its health and performance.

Low Power Protection – It is strictly forbidden to operate the instrument when the battery is low. Running the battery in a depleted state will severely shorten its service life and may even cause permanent damage. When the instrument indicates low power, immediately switch off the power supply and recharge the battery. Avoid leaving the battery in a discharged state for extended periods, as excessive discharge can lead to battery failure.

Charging Indicator – The charging lamp on the charger serves as a status indicator: a bright red light indicates that charging is in progress, while a bright green light signifies that charging is complete.

Maintenance and Service – Users must not disassemble the instrument or replace the battery without authorization. If the instrument or battery exhibits any malfunction, please return it to the factory for professional service and repair.
