Products Description

I. Summary

DC resistance is the required test item of semi-finished products, finished product factory test, installation, overhaul, change of tap switch, handover test and power department preventive test of the transformer in transformer manufacturing. It can check the welding quality of the winding joint and whether the winding is an inter-turn short circuit, detect whether each position of the voltage tap switch is good, whether the actual position of the tap switch is consistent with the indicated position, whether the lead line is broken, and whether multiple strands are broken. In order to meet the needs of rapid measurement of transformer DC resistance, the HZ-3150A DC resistance tester developed by our company. The instrument adopts the new power supply technology, which has the characteristics of small volume, light weight, large output current, good repeatability, strong anti-interference ability and perfect protection function. The whole machine is controlled by high-speed Scontroller with high degree of automation and automatic discharge and discharge alarm function.

Precautions:

Do Not Disconnect During Inductive Discharge: Never remove test leads directly while measuring inductive load to avoid hazardous inductive discharge. The instrument's output includes a discharge circuit. After resetting, it automatically discharges stored energy internally. Always wait for the discharge cycle to complete before disconnecting leads.

No Tap Changes During Measurement: Do not operate the tap changer on no-load voltage regulating transformers while a measurement is in progress.

Power Loss During Test: If mains power fails during a test, the instrument will automatically initiate discharge. Do not disconnect immediately. Wait at least 30 seconds after power loss before removing connections.

Avoid Grounding Untested Windings: Do not short-circuit or ground untested windings during measurement. Doing so can slow transformer charging, prolong data stabilization, or cause incorrect readings.

Verify Input Power: Ensure the supply voltage is AC 220V ± 10%, 50Hz before starting the instrument.

Confirm Equipment De-energization: Before testing, verify that the equipment under test is completely de-energized and isolated from any live circuits.

Ground the Instrument Case: The instrument chassis must be reliably connected to earth ground during operation.

Clear Workspace: Keep the instrument panel and surrounding area clear of unrelated items during testing.

Use Correct Replacement Parts: Replace fuses and accessories only with the exact types specified for this instrument (refer to Technical Specifications). Using incorrect parts may cause malfunction or safety hazards.

Prevent Moisture and Oil Contamination: Protect the instrument from exposure to moisture and oil. Store in a dry, oil-free environment when not in use.

Select Appropriate Current Range: Choose the test current based on the ranges specified in the Technical Specifications. Exceeding the range: If the current cannot reach the preset value, the instrument will remain in a continuous "Charging" state. If this occurs: Press Reset to stop the test, then select a lower current range and restart.
