Functional Characteristics

Flexible Current Selection

The tester allows selection of the corresponding output current value based on the test object. It is primarily suitable for measuring inductive DC resistance in transformers.

Large Transformer Testing

For large transformers with a five-leg core and low-voltage windings connected in delta, the tester can perform tests in HV & LV series excitation mode. The magnetic augmentation circuit of the windings is automatically connected within the tester, enabling quick and accurate measurement of low-voltage winding DC resistance.

Three-Phase Test Function

The tester features a three-phase test function to synchronously measure the three-phase DC resistance of star-connected windings and automatically calculate the three-phase unbalance rate, significantly reducing measurement time and improving test efficiency. Its phase-by-phase test function is also applicable to transformers with YN and D (Y) connections.

Winding Material Setting

The winding material can be set according to the transformer's winding material (e.g., copper or aluminum) to distinguish the temperature coefficient conversion for different materials.

Neutral Point Lead Resistance Detection

The tester is equipped with a detection function for the neutral point lead resistance of YN-connected transformer windings, ensuring three-phase test data more closely match single-phase test values.

Protection and Safety

A complete protection circuit and audible discharge alarm provide clear discharge indication and reduce the risk of misoperation.
