Description
The HZ-109S2 Primary Current Injection Tester is a high-performance instrument designed for precise high-current testing in power system applications. It incorporates advanced ARM chip technology for accurate output control, paired with a high-capacity toroidal transformer that ensures stable and reliable current generation.
An integrated LCD display simultaneously presents primary current, secondary current, and turns ratio, providing operators with comprehensive real-time test data at a glance.
The instrument is housed in an external aluminum alloy case with a PC panel, combining durability with a sleek, professional appearance. Despite its high output capacity, the tester remains compact and lightweight, making it highly portable for field use.
The HZ-109S2 is primarily used for CT turns ratio testing and contact resistance measurement in power systems, as well as other applications requiring high-current injection testing.

Principle
The circuit is illustrated in the diagram below. AC 220V power is supplied through terminals X5–X6, regulated by the TY voltage regulator, and then boosted by the T current booster. The resulting high current is delivered via a current transformer through output terminals X1–X4.
When the two coil sets are connected in parallel, the system outputs 2000 A at a maximum voltage of 5 V.
When the two coil sets are connected in series, the system outputs 1000 A at a maximum voltage of 10 V.
The ARM controller handles data display and control output for both the mouse interface and the signal board.
