Selection of Insulation Resistance Meter

Insulation resistance meter, also known as megohmmeter or shake meter, is used for measuring insulation resistance; Mainly used for electric motors, electrical appliances, and circuits. The rated voltage of an insulation resistance meter should be selected based on the insulation level of the tested equipment.
(1) Electrical equipment with a rated voltage below 500V should use insulation resistance meters of 500V or 1000V.
(2) Electrical equipment with a rated voltage above 500V should use an insulation resistance meter with a voltage range of 1000-2500V.
