Preparation before use for dry-type test transformers

Environmental inspection:
Ensure that the operating environment is dry, clean, well ventilated, and free of flammable and explosive materials.
The ground should be flat and stable.
Maintain sufficient safety distance: There should be enough space around the high-voltage end of the transformer, test leads, and the tested object to prevent discharge to the ground or other objects. The specific distance depends on the test voltage level (following relevant safety regulations, such as DL/T 474.1-2018, etc.).
Equipment inspection:
Check whether the appearance of the dry-type test transformer body, control box (operation console), high-voltage connecting wire, grounding wire, etc. is intact, without any signs of damage, cracks, contamination or moisture (especially pay attention to the high-voltage insulation part)
