The generator is suitable for full-wave standard lightning impulse voltage testing on air gap insulator strings, bushings, power transformers, and transformer standards.

Overview

The impulse voltage generator measurement and control integrated system is a high-voltage equipment automation information platform that integrates measurement and control functions. It consists of core components including an ultra-high-speed, large-capacity transient signal acquisition module, a programmable amplifier, a lower-level control unit, and actuators. The industrial control computer enables fully automatic control and rapid signal analysis and processing for the entire system.

By utilizing a general-purpose industrial control computer as the information platform, the system provides ample capacity for future upgrades and expansion of impulse voltage generator measurement and control functions, while also establishing a hardware foundation for laboratory information center construction. All components are designed and manufactured in accordance with industrial-grade process standards, ensuring system reliability, stability, accuracy, and operational speed.

 

Key Functions

Manual Charging: Manual adjustment of charging voltage.

Ball Gap Synchronization: Synchronizes the charging voltage with ball gap setting; manual or automatic adjustment of ball gap distance with actual distance display; ball gap limit switch protection.

Charging Speed Selection: User-selectable charging speed with 2 levels to suit different test requirements.

Standardized Waveform Editing: Waveform measurement can be completed via mouse drag; waveforms can also be easily zoomed.

Overvoltage/Overcurrent Protection & Automatic Grounding: Built-in protection and automatic grounding functions.

Ignition Control: Supports both automatic ignition and manual control.

Emergency Trip: Different from manual opening, the emergency trip directly cuts off the main circuit power supply via a button, used for abnormal conditions such as power failure in the control room.
